High bay lighting is often purchased by wattage. That is convenient for quotations, but it is not enough for a warehouse or production floor.
The first number I would check is mounting height.
A 100W fixture mounted too high can leave work areas underlit. A higher-output fixture mounted too low may create glare and uneven brightness. Beam angle, spacing and ceiling height have to work together, especially in buildings with tall racking or narrow aisles.

For a buyer, luminous efficacy is useful, but it should not be read in isolation. A fixture can produce a high number of lumens per watt and still perform poorly if too much light falls on the top of racks, walls or unused floor space.
Before approving a bulk order, I would ask for photometric data or an IES file if available, then run the layout using the actual mounting height, rack position and target illuminance. If the project has long aisles, the best optic may be different from the one used in an open manufacturing area.
Heat is another practical issue.
High bay fixtures often run for long shifts, sometimes in buildings where the ambient temperature is already elevated. Good thermal design protects the LEDs and driver, but installation conditions matter too. A fixture surrounded by hot air near a roof deck is working in a different environment from the same fixture installed in a well-ventilated warehouse.
Maintenance should also be considered before a project is finalized.
Driver access, suspension method and the time required to replace a failed unit can matter more in daily operation than a small difference in purchase price. In a factory or warehouse, lighting maintenance may require lifts, shutdown time or restricted access to work areas.

The right fixture is the one that puts enough light on the working plane without wasting energy where nobody needs it.
